SAMARITAN PAD, ADULT PADPAK
PADBAS

The HeartSine Samaritan PAD (1x Adult PAD-PAK) is truly an innovative AED with its compact size, ease of use for operation, outstanding technical specifications and durability. It won a prestigious Australian International design award in 2005.

SCOPE™ Bipahsic waveform, impedance measuring and self compensating for each patient.  Provides significantly better performance in removing ventricular fibrillation (VF) by the third shock.  *Efficacy of Distinct Energy Delivery Protocols Comparing Two Biphasic Defibrillators for Cardiac Arrest. Walsh SJ, McClelland AJ, Owens CG, Allen J, Anderson JM, Turner C, Adgey AAJ. The American Journal of Cardiology Vol. 94 August 1, 2004.

Intrinsically easy to use with visual and audible prompts. Two button operation. Green flashing indicator - ready state. Metronome for maintaining CPR rate to current guidelines. The defibrillator and electrodes can be accessed and used whilst in its carrybag. The convenience of one expiry date for integrated electrode/battery cartridge.

PAD-PAK electrode/battery have a 3.5 year shelf life, 7 year warranty on defibrillator, self testing including electrodes, 45 minutes data recording, weight 1.1 kg,  IP56, the Samaritan PAD has passed significant military and medical equipment testing standards.

Compliant to current AHA/ERC/ARC 2005 guidelines.
